  • Q: Can I use a BraVo to control a projector screen?
A: No, BraVo has only one I/O, and even if you use the RS-232 to operate a relay box, you still have no ports available for a projector or other devices.

S: You need to choose a control system with a bi-directional RS-232 port or more I/O ports like the OsCar.
  • Q: What is the I/O port usually for?
A: The I/O with a PIR motion sensor is brilliant for designing eco-friendly installations. You can make the PIR turn off your installation when no motion is detected. Remember to time the system so that it does not turn off too soon.

What you could also use your I/O for is a keyboard lock, which prevents unwanted handling of the control panel.
  • Q: Can you control IR devices and how many?
A: Yes, The TX/IR Port supports one IR emitter.
  • Q: Why does the BraVo show that the projector is on when it is in fact off?
A: The projector may have been switched off manually (via remote control) and since the BraVo does not have bi-directional communication, it is not able to follow the projector.

S: Press the OFF button on the BraVo, and you are ready to turn the system on again.
  • Q: Are all the button functions pre-defined?
A: No, all buttons are freely configurable with the Neets configuration software.
  • Q: What software should I use for configuring the BraVo?
A: We recommend that you use the latest version of Neets Project Designer.
